Fees:

Notary fees within California are prescribed by the Secretary of State at $15. per notarized signature. The fee increased from $10. on January 1, 2017.

In addition, depending on location and travel distance, there may be a small fee for travel to your location. Within Berkeley, this fee ranges from $20 to $65 depending on zip code. Outside of Berkeley, the fee is dependent on time and mileage, but is typically under $65. within 15 miles. If specialized notary forms are required, there may be a $2. fee per form used.
